Egad, I knew I shouldn't be planting dangerous thoughts in people's  
heads with that half-joke... :-)

I suspect though with BV it's not so much conspiracy as simple stuff- 
up.  Doubtless the people concerned genuinely thought that no-one has  
a real need to take a bike on a train in peak hour.  They really  
should have asked.
