Amy Gillett Foundation News: The Amy Gillett Foundation awards two scholarships as part of its work to support the development of young female athletes and to improve road safety by contributing intelligence and research.

Amy Gillett Scholarship (Sporting): Amy had a great love for life, sport and education. The Amy Gillett Scholarship seeks to honour her memory by supporting the young women who aspire to the same pursuit of sporting and educational excellence Amy did.

Safe Family Research Scholarship (Research): In partnership with the Monash University Accident Research Foundation, the Amy Gillett Foundation is co-funding research into incidents involving cyclists and motorists across Australia. Trailmix Social Rides – Lysterfield Park: Women’s Social Ride (MTB) – next ride is Sunday June 14 at 9am. Meet at shop for an hour ride. Tuesday night ride – leave at 6.30pm from Trailmix. Fat Tyre Flyers: Chix Ride – 6th June 2009: The ride is aimed towards women wanting to gain more confidence and a few skills on the mountain bike. Knobby tyres a must, no panniers or pack racks!
