Val, Faith and studio guest Sanso kick off this morning\u2019s show with the usual rider’s musings about the weather. It seems that suddenly spring has sprung! \u00a0We talk about Boris Johnson\u2019s visit to Melbourne<\/a>, his idea that helmetless riders are essential to any ‘villages within a city’ and dive straight into the Great Helmet Debate just for fun. After a quick break we turn to \u2018Fancy Cycling\u2019, or fixie tricks. Sanso shares her thought on the book Fancy Cycling, first published in 1901<\/a>, and her recent attempt to recreate some of the tricks described within it. Anyone interested in joining in future attempts at Fancy Cycling can get in touch with Sanso and others at Itchy the Movement<\/a>.<\/p>\n
