It’s time to replace Walmer Street Bridge<\/p><\/div>\n

Building Bridges: talking to Mike Waller about Walmer Street Bridge Coalition campaign<\/a>: on this weeks program, Chris welcomes Mike Waller from the\u00a0Walmer Street Bridge Coalition<\/a>\u00a0back to the 3CR studio for a catch up on this long running local campaign. Mike explains changes to the Salta site, recent history, what’s needed to get a fit for purpose connection between Abbotsford and Kew and the community campaign that\u00a0consists of Yarra and Boroondara Councils, Walmer Street Action Group, Collingwood and Abbotsford Residents Association (CARA) and the Yarra and Boroondara Bicycle User Groups.<\/p>\n

Mike also explains how you can get involved, including a downoading, signing and returning a\u00a0petition<\/a>, attending\u00a0Yarra Transport Forum<\/a>\u00a0on Thursday 2nd August, making feedback to\u00a0Imagine the Yarra<\/a>\u00a0by 31 July and also attending the\u00a0It’s time to replace Walmer Street Bridge Rally<\/a>\u00a0on Saturday 4th August, 10am at Williams Reserve,\u00a0520 Victoria Street, Abbotsford<\/a>.<\/p>\n
