50 years of Friends of the Earth: urban campaigns and active transport<\/a>: on this week program, falling on World Environment Day<\/a>, Chris chats to Cam Walker from Friends of the Earth <\/a>about celebrating 50 years of Friends of the Earth<\/a>, continuing work in environmental, urban and social justice campaigns, including getting lead in petrol banned<\/a>, intergenerational anti F19 protests in Alexandra Parade<\/a> and 1990s Transport Collective which organised Streets For People, Reclaim the Streets, establishing Critical Mass Melbourne<\/a> and Sustainable Cities work in Melbourne’s west<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n
