In news we briefly mention the Merri-bek Transport Startegy (link is external)<\/a>currently up for consultation. You can read all about it at the link and if you live, work or play  in Merri-bek take part in the survey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conversation turns to the\u00a0Parliamentary Inquiry into the Imapact of Road Safety Behaviours on\u00a0Vulnerable Road Users<\/a>\u00a0that is currently underway in Victoria. With\u00a0288 submissions<\/a>\u00a0the Inquiry’s Public Hearings commence this week with two sessions; one at Parliament House on\u00a0Tuesday August 8th<\/a>\u00a0and one in Merri-bek on\u00a0Wednesday August 9th<\/a>. (Click on each link to see a list of organisations and people attending) All sessions are open to the public and will be streamed live so keep an eye on this link for details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

John talks about Bike West’s submission, why they thought it was important to take part in the Inquiry, problems they have identified with Victoria’s stance on road safety and ultimately what he hopes might result fromthe Inquiry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
