Our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3cr.org.au\/news\/donate-radiothon-today\">2025 radiothon show<\/a> has\u00a0a bit of everything\u00a0with Val, Chris, Steve and Nik in the studio, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smh.com.au\/national\/whitlam-government-minister-championed-progressive-causes-20220302-p5a11m.html\">Dr Moss Cass<\/a>&#8216; contribution to community radio, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DKqU1G8h4WS\/\">Great Ride of Return<\/a>, bicycle moments, the rebirth\u00a0of <a href=\"https:\/\/criticalmass.melbourne\/\">Critical Mass<\/a>\u00a0since 2022\u00a0and how it has changed, including local advocacy mobilisation in response to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/her-name-was-yukako\">Yukako Fukuharas<\/a> tragic death on <a href=\"https:\/\/bicyclenetwork.com.au\/newsroom\/2023\/08\/02\/coroner-highlights-dog-danger\/\">King Street in May 2022 <\/a>and <strong><em>that<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.yarrabug.org\/2022\/06\/08\/groundswell-of-support-for-city-of-melbourne-protected-bicycle-infrastructure\/\">Melbourne City Council on June 2022\u00a0meeting<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/her-name-was-yukako\">Her name was Yukako:<\/a>&nbsp;Yukako was a kind, funny and joyful woman from Japan who dreamed of improving her English in Melbourne and was living that dream until her life was tragically cut short in a bicycle accident with a truck on King Street in the CBD on her way to school on May 17th 2022.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bikemelbourne.org\/&nbsp;\">Nik talks about what happens next<\/a> with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.melbourne.vic.gov.au\/upcoming-council-and-committee-meetings\">Melbourne City Council<\/a>&nbsp;on 17 June 2025 and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DKJjMQAuyEL\/\">bicycle infrastructure funding<\/a> and Val reading&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bikeability.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Bikeability-Learning-Resources-KS2-Mulga-Bills-Cycling-Journey.pdf\">Mulga Bill&nbsp;riding&nbsp;his new bike into Deadman&#8217;s Creek<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.givenow.com.au\/cr\/yarrabugradioshow\">Givenow to Yarra Bicycle Users Group Radio<\/a>!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Celebrate everything you love about community and bike riding by supporting Your Station, Your Voice in 2025 and making a donation by 22 June 2025.
