28 March 2025: thank you to Streets Alive Yarra Inc. for this Critical Mass Boroondara video enjoying a warm autumn evening riding through the CBD, East Melbourne, Richmond to Yarra Bank Bridge. Check out the great response from bystanders along Elizabeth Street!
Critical Mass Boroondara: meet 5.30pm, Friday 28 March at State Library, CBD, riding through Yarra until we find a nice park along the Yarra. Yarra and Boroondara need a new river crossing!
Infrastructure Victoria has just released their 30 year plan, and it supports a cycling link from the city through to the Hawthorn – Box Hill trail. This link would need a new pedestrian and cycling bridge between Richmond and Hawthorn.
Both Boroondara Council and Yarra Councils have strategies saying a bridge is needed to connect their two communities – is not the time to make it happen?! Come to Critical Mass on 28 March to show support for a Better East-West Link! Follow or join the ride with Critical Maps
