Val, Faith and studio guest Sanso kick off this morning’s show with the usual rider’s musings about the weather. It seems that suddenly spring has sprung!  We talk about Boris Johnson’s visit to Melbourne, his idea that helmetless riders are essential to any ‘villages within a city’ and dive straight into the Great Helmet Debate just for fun. After a quick break we turn to ‘Fancy Cycling’, or fixie tricks. Sanso shares her thought on the book Fancy Cycling, first published in 1901, and her recent attempt to recreate some of the tricks described within it.
